ICBC states that 80% of BC drivers have never taken professional driving lessons and BC is the province with the highest crash rate per km of roadway. British Columbia also has the highest fatality rate from vehicle crashes of any developed country in the world. I teach new drivers that developing a healthy mindset is just as important as knowledge and skills when learning how to drive. With proper training we could save lives and reduce crashes and carnage on BC roads.
Community
I am filling a service gap in our community with a local driving school and at the same time running and operating my own business. I always look forward to developing relationships with the students, parents and other businesses in our area. I want to make a difference and have a positive influence on my community. By teaching new drivers how to create a safe and courteous environment on our roads. and have our young drivers stay alive on our roads.

3 Sisters Driving School is an easy choice for Elk Valley residents. We offer customizable programs for drivers of all ages and experience levels. I work hard to help you feel comfortable and confident while you develop your driving skills. I provide important life skills to new drivers, such as hazard awareness, risk perception, and decision making, not just how to pass the road test.
About the Instructor
Carmen grew up in the Elk Valley with her two sisters and like so many others, she came back in 2008 to raise her daughter in Fernie. She has a calm and friendly approach to teaching and can work with you to make your driving experience enjoyable and safe.
She has been a certified driving instructor since January 2022 and trained with AAAEasy Park Driving Academy in Langley, B.C. She is qualified to teach practical in car lessons to Class 5 and Class 7 "L" and "N" drivers in B.C. Over the years, she has worked with a diverse range of individuals in many different occupations. She has a background in Occupational Health and Safety, operated haul trucks in the coal mine and has many years teaching skiing. She is proud to provide quality customer service and will strive to make your journey an enjoyable one.
